One can start treatment when wrinkles appear on their face, but no earlier than 18 years old. It is best to start treatment prior to wrinkles being permanent when your face is at rest (“preventative” treatment). Toxins are measured in units. Each brand of toxin has a “recommended” amount of units to use in each area, however you and your provider will decide on how many units you will need based on the results you are looking to achieve.

There is relatively no downtime to this treatment. We do ask that you not exercise for 24 hours post treatment. You may get a small bruise in the area where the injections are done, however, you can cover it with makeup if desired. At Bella Viságe, we ask clients to come in for a free consultation. During this time, we will discuss your areas of concern and make sure you’re a good candidate for treatment. You will sign consents and “before” photos will be taken and placed in your chart. The treatment will not take but a few pain free minutes. We will have you come back in 2 weeks for your initial follow up. At this time we’ll take “after” photos and make sure you have gotten the desired results. If you like the results, remember you will need to keep up with your treatments. Everyone metabolizes toxin differently, but typically you can expect the results to last between 2.5-4 months. If you decide that you do not want to continue with treatment, the toxin wears off and you go back to making the same facial expressions (muscle movement) as prior to your treatment.
